MYSTERY QUILT
It seemed appropriate since next year's show theme is Scrappy Quilts. Now is your chance to use up all those scraps. Due to my own error I do not have the yardages yet but the finished quilt is 87"x102". Mine will definitely NOT be that big. If you want a smaller size, or you might have a couple left over for a table runner. After you have used all these scraps think how much room you will have to buy more!
Because this is being published we cannot post any of it on our web site due to copyrights. You must sign up for the year and pay a printing fee of $3.00 for the year. I don't want to print any more copies than necessary.
FOR the first month select four colors that look well together and provide contrast among all four. Suggested
choices are pink, green, brown and red. Select mediums to darks in the four colors you choose.
In addition you will need neutrals for background. This is the time to raid all the bits and pieces you have squirreled away for who knows why. They will get used. You basically want lights or something that appears light, small print with white or beige backgrounds, anything that appears light compared with you four color choices. You will not need to drag that box of pieces just yet, just remember where you put it!
