Beaver Valley Piecemakers

Quilting Guild

The Beaver Valley Piecemakers, founded in 1983, is a
registered chapter of  the NQA (National Quilting
Association, Inc.).  Our goals are to encourage and
advance the knowledge and understanding of all aspects
of quilt making while promoting good fellowship through
sharing the art and finished products of quilting.

We have made many small quilts over the years that have been donated to Children and Youth Services of Beaver County(CYS), The Medical Center, Beaver,  The
Woman's Center of Beaver County, and Project Linus.
A special group of wall hangings was made for the
children of McGire Memorial Home and can be viewed
at that facility.  Members of the Guild have made various
kinds of women's hats which were donated to the
American Cancer Society.  Lap robes will be donated to
Veterans, in hospitals and homes, honoring those who
have served there country.

Quilters of all levels of expertise are invited to attend our
meetings and to join our guild. We meet the first
Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Park
Presbyterian Church, 275 Commerce Steet, Beaver,PA
15009.  Dues are $20.00 per year.
