About the Beaver Valley Piecemakers
The Beaver Valley Piecemakers was founded in 1983. Our goals are to encourage and advance the knowledge and understanding of all aspects of quilt making while promoting good fellowship through sharing the art and finished products of quilting.

We have made many small quilts over the years that have been donated to Children and Youth Services of Beaver County (CYS), The Heritage Valley Medical Center, The Woman's Center of Beaver County, Project Linus, and Quilts of Valor. A special group of wall hangings was made for the children of McGuire Memorial Home and can be viewed at that facility. Members of the Guild have made various kinds of women's hats which were donated to the American Cancer Society. lap robes will be donated to Veterans, in hospitals and homes, honoring those who have served their country. We have worked with the local hospital and dialysis clinic to provide scarves for patients undergoing therapy and most recently have made placemats and bowl cozies for Meals on Wheels.
Quilters of all levels of expertise are invited to attend our meetings and join our guild. We meet the first Wednesday of the month (September to June) at 7:00 pm at the Chippewa United Methodist Church, 2545 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Dues are $25 the first year (which includes the guild pin) and $20 per year renewal.
