This year's challenge is a traditional mini quilt with a Modern twist.    Below are the guidelines for the  Mini quilt challenge:

1. Quilts must have a permiter no larger than 96 inches.

2. A Mini is a quilt that is reduced in size but looks like a full size quilt.

3. Choose a traditional quilt block/design and adapt it with a modern twist. 

• According to the Modern Quilt Guild Modern traditionalism is defined as "taking traditional patchwork designs or tranditional elements and reimaging using Modern quilting elements such as assemetry, scale and color".
